Avery Dennison is seeking a Sales Manager to join the Yongle Tape organization. In this role the successful candidate will deliver profitable doubledigit revenue growth at key regional accounts in the EMEA region. This person is responsible for developing customer account plans cultivating customer relationships new opportunity identification and coordination of customerfacing company resources to commercialize new innovative products. This person will also lead the regions creation and implementation of strategy and business development efforts.
Critical Objectives & Outcomes:
- Deliver profitable doubledigit revenue growth in the EMEA region
- Develop right regional growth strategy
- Develop distribution channels in the region
- Build up and maintain direct customer (tier one) and indirect customer (OEM) relationships help to do specin in OEM while sales activities in direct customers.
- Uncover and assess customer needs and develop a plan to execute mutual value creation.
- Provide product recommendations samples technical support pricing and service information on demand.
- Provide product quotes and actively utilize valueselling tools and skills. Establish pricing programs and strategies that grow volume and improve profitability.
- Collaborate and develop strong relationships with Customer Service Technical Service Product Management Operations and other Sales Team members to deliver superior service and products to customers.
- Work with Product Management to plan and implement product line programs including new product launches/commercialization and customer support.
- Collaborate with other business units to evaluate volume identify trends ensure quality and monitor budgets.
Qualifications :
- Proven selfstarter eager to uncover and close business growth opportunities.
- Bachelors Degree required.
- 5 years applicable experience with at least 3 years assigned to national or strategic accounts preferred.
- Competencies interacting throughout the value chain especially with industrial Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.
- Knowledgeable in pressure sensitive adhesives coating and processing technologies preferred.
- Proven negotiation skills/experience and demonstrated track record of sales growth and success.
- Excellent financial skills and business acumen.
- Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications in English. French is a strong plus.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems such as Microsoft Office Google Apps and other function specific software.
