The Video Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning creating and optimizing video content that supports the company s marketing objectives. This role involves scripting shooting and editing videos for digital platforms including social media websites email campaigns and online ads. The specialist will work closely with the marketing design and product teams to craft compelling visual stories that engage audiences promote brand awareness and drive conversions. Additionally the role includes analyzing video performance metrics to refine content strategies and ensure maximum impact.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut ProCap cut)
Knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g. After Effects)
Experience with video production equipment (cameras lighting sound)
Familiarity with video formats codecs and optimization for different platforms (YouTube Instagram TikTok etc.)
Understanding of SEO for video (e.g. metadata thumbnails captions)
Marketing Knowledge
Strong grasp of digital marketing fundamentals and trends
Ability to align video content with marketing goals and KPIs (engagement conversion retention)
Experience creating content for ads (YouTube Facebook TikTok)
Understanding of customer journey and how video fits into content strategy
Basic knowledge of performance analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics Meta Ads Manager YouTube Studio)
Creative & Communication Skills
Strong storytelling skills and ability to create emotionally engaging content
Creative direction and scripting ability
Excellent written and verbal communication for crossteam collaboration
Ability to work with designers copywriters and marketers
