We are looking for a dynamic and experienced System Engineer in this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust system solutions that bridge IT and operational technology (OT).
You will be instrumental in maintaining system reliability optimizing performance and ensuring security while working closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance automation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the business applications within the specified terminal domain
Execute upgrades software enhancements and changes to the business applications in scope in line with global standard change management practices IT service management processes and without service interruption
Provide input and keep track of the business application lifecycle keeping it up to date and execute on agreed release managements
Ensure integrity on interfaces between equipment control systems and other relevant systems in order to meet automation design and concepts
Resolve incidents and provide root cause analysis in line with standard incident management processes and within agreed service levels on a 24x7 basis
Followup with relevant stakeholders and suppliers for defect management.
Support the Quality Assurance test activities for all applications under the scope of work.
Apply the governance processes to all inhouse developed applications including design build test and deployment.
Write and maintain all the SOP & WI up to date within the defined scope.
Drive agile thinking and ways of working to maximize collaboration and value creation.
Skills Required:
Have a basic understanding of Virtual solution Server Virtualization and Desktop Virtualization Cloud computing.
Requires thorough knowledge on Commercial Finance Engineering and Business Intelligence applications.
Requires basic DBA skills (SQL ORACLE) including querying the database creating / modifying tables views familiar with backup/recovery techniques.
Requires demonstrated ability and knowledge to troubleshoot a wide variety of business applications and database related issues as they arise in the workplace.
Knowledge of system operations and system functions within the area of Finance OPS TECH;
Must be multitask oriented with proven ability to manage several activities simultaneously;
Must have good analytical skills to be able to relate and analyze the business requirements and configure the applications to meet the business needs.
Strong client service skills and an ability to develop a strong client service organization;
Ability to lead subprojects for applications like GOS ERP and integration with other systems;
Ability to assess business issues identify risks and to interpret them into technology solutions/requirements.
Understanding of project management change management and escalation processes.
Proven demonstrated ability to be a team player as well is able to work independently within the defined project maintaining good relationship to customer staff and other project team members.
Proven ability to establish and maintain technical and process documentation for both project implementation phase and post implementation operations.
Qualification:
Requires at least at least 4 5 years (larger/automated/more complex terminal) of technical application administration or functional administration experience in a medium to large organization.
Must have at least two years of or project handling/coordination experience Experience of working in a highly responsive support organization.
High Education diploma Bachelor of Science (BSc) Computer Science Computer Application business or similar.
Languages Known:
Speak/Write/Understand English on working and communication level is a must.
