NBC 2026 Winter Olympics Host City Immersion Program – Sports Production

Were looking for worldclass talent to help bring actionpacked coverage of the Olympics and Paralympics to viewers across the country.  From the cosmopolitan city of Milan to the storied Italian Alps we will be at the forefront of capturing all the compelling competitions and stories of the worlds biggest sporting event.  

With a rich Olympic history this will be the second time the Olympics are held in Cortina (1956 Winter Olympics) and the fourth time overall that Italy has hosted an Olympic Games (1960 Rome Olympics and 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin) join us in delivering the unforgettable Olympic and Paralympic moments that inspire the world!     

Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics Immersion Program: 

• Applications Close: Friday May 30 2025. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible dont delay! 
• Program Dates: Assignments will begin as early as January 26 2026 and run through February 23 2026. Most roles will last approximately 3 to 4 weeks with the exact duration determined at the time of placement. 
• Time Commitment: Anticipate a minimum of 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. 

This posting represents opportunities across various departments and roles supporting the 2026 Winter Olympics.   

Areas of placement include: 

Operations Runner: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Provide handson support for logistical and operational tasks across assigned departments 

• Perform clerical and administrative tasks upon request 

• Assist production teams with support needs as required 

• Maintain professionalism in highpressure fastpaced environments 

• Approach all tasks with flexibility a cando attitude and a teamfirst mindset 

Press Runner: 

The Press Runner plays a key support role in the daytoday operations for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan. This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive flexible and eager to contribute in a dynamic fastpaced environment. This individual will assist our communication and production teams with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative duties to handson media interview support and errand running. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   

• Support press and media operations by assisting with logistics setup and coordination

• Act as a reliable point of contact for urgent requests and lastminute needs from team members 

• Work closely with press production and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of daily operations

• Maintain a positive cando attitude and demonstrate flexibility in responding to shifting priorities or needs

Qualifications :

Basic Requirements:    

• Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future toretain authorization to work in the United States. For further clarification candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F1 CPT F1 OPT J1 M1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.   
• Must be willing to work in Milan Italy.
• Must be able to work assigned hours including evenings and weekends. 

Desired Characteristics:

• Resourceful problem solver with the ability to prioritize and create approaches to meet required objectives.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and ensure timely delivery of materials.  
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Detailoriented organized and able to multitask with a willingness to travel and work overtime and on weekends with short notice.
