Job Description
A leading gems and jewellery firm is hiring an experienced Accounts Executive to manage daytoday financial transactions ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate will handle purchase and sales entries bank reconciliations inventoryrelated accounting and GST/TDS filings. This role demands precision familiarity with jewellery accounting software and knowledge of the unique financial practices within the gems and jewellery industry. Coordination with sales inventory and audit teams is essential. Prior experience in jewellery sector accounting is highly preferred for accurate handling of highvalue transactions and inventory valuation.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions including sales purchases receipts and payments.
Manage accounts receivable and payable and prepare vendor/customer ledgers.
Handle GST TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash books.
Monitor and manage gold silver and diamond inventory accounting.
Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
Coordinate with internal teams for stock and billing accuracy.
Support internal and statutory audits with required documentation.
Use Tally Jewel ERP or other accounting software specific to the jewellery industry.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting or related field.
2 4 years of experience in accounting preferably in the jewellery industry.
Proficient in Tally ERP Jewel ERP or other accounting tools.
Strong knowledge of GST TDS and Indian financial regulations.
Good understanding of jewellery stock valuation and reconciliation.
Detailoriented with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to manage confidential financial data responsibly.
