About the Team:
The Exocloud team at Rubrik is at the forefront of developing the next generation of data management solutions. We are a dynamic and innovative group of engineers passionate about building scalable reliable and highperformance systems. Our mission is to design and implement the core platform that enables Rubrik to deliver its industryleading data protection and recovery services in a SaaS model. We work on challenging problems that span distributed systems cloud infrastructure and data engineering.
About the Role:
As part of the Exocompute team you will be instrumental in:
- Building the Exocloud Platform: We are responsible for the architecture design and implementation of Exocloud Rubriks nextgeneration platform. This involves developing a multitenant scalable and costeffective SaaS platform that supports a wide range of applications and services.
- Developing Zeus Datastore: We own the Zeus datastore a critical component for managing SaaS relational data. This includes guiding the design implementation and ongoing development of Zeus to ensure it meets the performance reliability and scalability requirements of our SaaS offerings.
- Enhancing Platform Capabilities: We work to enhance the platform to support a growing number of customers and applications. This includes everything from improving operational efficiency to scaling our systems to reducing oncall load.
What youll do:
You will design build and maintain Rubriks data lifecycle services. Youll help solve problems such as:
- Design develop and implement highquality maintainable and scalable SaaS and cloudbased applications for Rubriks Data Lifecycle Management services.
- How do you optimize cloud computing/storage so that the cost remains low at scale
- Collaborate with partner teams such as Product Management QA UI UX documentation and support teams
Experience youll need:
- 25 years of experience in developing largescale distributed systems
- Exceptional understanding of distributed systems
- Sound understanding of cloud architecture and internals for AWS Azure or GCP
- Proven experience in data structures algorithms software design and systems
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team on complex timesensitive projects.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
