These services have applicability across a variety of industries including banking & financial services insurance retail higher education food healthcare and manufacturing.
The Role
Deploying services on Azure /deploying services On Prem. This is done through Jenkins so Jenkins handson must have.
Enough grasp on Linux command and Shell Scripting (Not too dep into Shell scripting but handson just to trouble shooting issues on the servers OS update and issue)
Should be able to deploy service using Jenkins or spin up an instance
Should be able to check logs there are different tools available in the Azure portal. Checking instance logs or application logs where exactly to look for it
Setting up alerts and monitoring on Azure
Creating Dashboards in Azure
On Prem monitoring Signal Fx Dynatrace Splunk Zabbix
Whenever there is any alerts whoever is on call should understand how to acknowledge and work on resolving it
It has DB components but we are not looking for someone on the DB side as we look into more on the application side
Basic DB knowledge will suffice
Application deployment is needed. Of course there is a different team who validates the deployment
Resouces should be knowing on space alerts batch alerts on the Linux servers
Provide L2 support to production systems like application database middleware components infrastructure and network components
Manage productions incidents endtoend within defined SLAs with focus on resolution rather than who caused it.
