We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join Greenlights Operations Analytics team to partner with our risk stakeholders. We are looking for someone who thrives in taking on complex analytical solutions with the initiative problemsolving and curiosity needed to find accurate and actionable insights. This role will focus on taking data from disparate sources to drive better business decisions in one of our core product areas. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual passionate about data who has the drive to solve complex problems and has the ability to grow alongside our team and our company. The ideal candidate can quickly identify trends in our data develop creative solutions and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate their impacts on our business. We are seeking someone who is comfortable collaborating directly with stakeholders to understand business decisions and strategically identify and solve business problems. This will include adhoc reporting dashboard building analysis and data narrative story role will report directly to Greenlights Senior Analytics Manager.
What you will be doing:
- Digging deep mining our data Diving into internal consumer data to help speed up decision making and move key business metrics. Explain the what and why of data results
- Ongoing monitoring of current reports and data for accuracy and usage
- Adapting solving problems Making connections between data that might seem unrelated and thinking creatively
- Using your skills to clearly explain your findings and recommendations
- Bridging gaps between the data and the business Working with crossfunctional teams across the US and India office to create and communicate actionable databased insights
- Developing and maintaining advanced reporting analytics dashboards and other BI solutions using tools available in the landscape including and not limited to Tableau Snowflake
- Creating all required documentation on all projects and keeping documentation up to date on any existing report changes and facilitating training & rollout of new tools
What you should bring:
- 4 years of data analytics experience with great analytical instincts and the ability to glean insights from large swaths of data
- Handson experience with SQL and advanced skills that allow you to easily extract data from multiple data sources for analysis and visualization
- Excellent data visualization skills preferably using Tableau and are familiar with bestinclass dashboarding techniques
- Experience working crossfunctionally with other teams and departments. This position will require bringing different disciplines and points of view together as well as balancing competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience communicating with collaborators at all levels from IC engineers to members of our executive team
- An ownership mentality this analyst will be the expert of the data in their product space and expected to fully understand related data and its implications on the business
- A proactive mindset although tickets are assigned to analysts we also expect analysts to move their space forward independently
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in Python along with associated statistical and data science packages. A strong understanding of how to rigorously apply these concepts to inform business decisions effectively.
- Experience with dbt and creation of data pipelines.
- Experience working with risk teams and risk analytics.
