The primary mandate of the CIQ ART is to maintain the performance and stability of the Capital IQ platform which is extremely critical to the continued success of the Desktop business. We ensure the Platform is scalable for the increased usage growth modernize where necessary perform mandatory maintenance BAU and general systems upkeeping.

The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of value using Agile practices. The Scrum Mater contributes significantly to their teams success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on delivering business priorities.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices solution design and creating long term value to our customers.
Act as Servant leader to an Agile team
Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from agile best practices and values
Coach Agile scrum teams in selforganization and continuous improvement
Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value
Manage risks mitigate impediments and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams
Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Standups Iteration Planning Refinement sessions Iteration Reviews Retrospectives and Quarterly planning
Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear concise prioritized and understood by every member of the Agile team.
Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency
Work with peers managers and communities of practice to increase the effectiveness of Agile delivery.
Work on data architects Developers and testers on demand basis.
Write SQL queries for data pull.
What Were Looking For:
Experience leading teams in delivery using Agile practices
Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively
Teamfirst empathetic servant leader with a growth mindset.
Clear understanding of database concepts and SQL.
