Summary:
Our manufacturing plant is looking for highly skilled candidates that are looking to start a new career. We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring electrical fixtures and control equipment. Job Duties:
- To perform & Execute all the Electrical & Automation Equipment maintenance activities along with the Electrical Engineers / Electrical Head
- To attend Daily Tool Box Talk & Take all the permits related with Job Safety analysis
- To attend and troubleshoot all the shift Breakdown activities
- To perform & execute all the Electrical & Automation jobs assigned as per the Job planned
- To actively participate in all the energy saving initiatives & drives as per the yearly & monthly targets
- To execute all the Interdepartmental Utility (Lighting AC Compressor water) related jobs for whole plant..
- To fill all the Daily Energy parameters as well as Water Flow meters reading.
- To Execute all the Preventive Maintenance jobs and fill checklist as per the PM Schedule
- Learn and understand technical drawings of all the electrical 7 Instruments panels.
- Take the energy meter readings and record in respective registers.
- Fill Daily Electrical Log Books without any fail.
- Timely report of all breakdown reports to Sectional head / Electrical Head. with detailed observation and action taken after attending the breakdown.
- Follow all the 5S & Golden safety rules of the plant.
- Read all the previous shift reports/Notices/Work Instructions for better understanding and insight on the problems attended by the previous shift electricians.
- Ensure the smooth changeover of power from PGVCL Grid to DG & vice versa with all safety protocols.
- Attend the EHS & 5S Meeting & follow all the EHS protocols in force from time to time
- Perform LOTOTO of plant equipment as and when required by the user department well in time.
- Removing all the electrical scrap/waste generated at site during job execution immediately before leaving the site and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- To comply with all the safety related protocols & Report all Accidents / Incidents / Near Miss & SOFI in Calderys EHS Software (Evotix) and make follow ups for closure of the same.
- Maintaining the Highest level of 5S standard in the workplace.
- Updates his job knowledge and skills by participating in Technical training and Discussions presented by HOD / Supervisors.
- To fill the all E&I Plant Improvement related initiatives/ Preventive Maintenance checklist as when provided by sectional head and HOD
