Job Description
Position Description:
Experience in test automation with at least 3 years in Cypress.
Strong handson skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML CSS DOM).
Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RESTassured.
Familiarity with Git Jenkins JIRA and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber (optional but preferred).
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge of Defect Management Process & Defect lifecycle.
Working knowledge of defect tracking software (JIRA preferred).
Working knowledge of databases (e.g. MSSQL).
Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in automation framework development.
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Detail oriented.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and J
JavaScript/TypeScript.
Design develop and maintain robust reusable Cypress automation frameworks for UI
and endtoend testing.
Lead the automation strategy for new features and regression coverage.
Write clean and wellstructured Cypress test scripts using Page Object Model or other
design patterns.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams (Dev QA Product) to clarify requirements and
acceptance criteria.
Perform API testing using Cypress or external tools like Postman or RESTassured.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitHub or
Azure DevOps.
Conduct code reviews mentor junior testers and help enforce automation best practices.
Troubleshoot failures in CI builds and work with developers to resolve issues.
Contribute to test plans risk assessments and release readiness activities.
Continuously improve test effectiveness and maintain high test coverage across multiple
releases Communicate daily and weekly progress.
Collaborate with QA Director in an effort to continuously provide input regarding potential
improvements to the QA process.
Generate and report to QA Director all planning and testing tasks completed for product
releases and weekly hotfixes.
