Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Azure SQL Database Administrator

Responsibilities
Database Clod Administrators Professionals are responsible for management availability security and performance monitoring and optimization of database solutions. They evaluate and implement migration strategies for moving databases between Azure and onpremises.
Candidate should have experience managing Azure hosted SQL database instances
Candidate should have experience in managing Manage instances Azure VMs DBaaS
Candidate should have strong experience in OnPrem to Azure cloud migrations
Candidate should have knowledge on upgrading Azure VM instances & Manage instances
Responsible for maintaining existing databases with highavailability solutions replication
backup restore encryption and disaster recovery solutions.
Configure & Monitor Performance/Storage/Memory alerts on all Production Azure Servers to
ensure high availability of data
Strong database migration experience.
Expertise and experience monitoring Azure workspaces VMs VM drives Memory etc.
Expertise and experience creating MS Visio diagrams as they relate to MS SQL and database design
Ensuring all hardware and software are updated.
Assist to define data retention policies and automation.
Estimating storage cost and defining data storage strategies.
Work with Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting resolution and change control.
Support and Troubleshooting Assist Operations Team with any environment issues during
application deployment across Development QA Staging and Production environments.
Assist other teams and customers with troubleshooting problems that may arise from
applications or integration of various components

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills

Bachelors Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
Fluent English oral and written
Strong Analytical Thinking
Excellent organizational multitasking skills
Flexibility commitment and ability to work under pressure absolute integrity and utmost discretion
Attention to detail well organized and able to set priorities
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Ability to anticipate identify and solve critical problems and conflicts
Experience with Azure SQL in a multiregion configuration
Azure certifications highly desired such as AZ900 DP300
Experience in performing data migrations upgrades/modernizations performance tuning on IaaS and PaaS Managed Instance and SQL Azure
Experience in documenting with Microsoft Visio
Experience with routine maintenance recovery and handling failover of a databases
