Scientist Process Development (Topicals)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scientist Process Development in the pharmaceutical development process responsible for formulation understanding process design optimization scaleup calculations and handling exhibit batches. This role involves working on semisolid formulations and technical documentation as well as process validations to ensure the successful development and scaleup of pharmaceutical products.

Roles & Responsibilities

  Conduct strategic evaluations to design and optimize pharmaceutical processes ensuring efficiency and costeffectiveness in development.

  Determine batch sizes for both earlystage development and commercial production factoring in critical parameters and quality standards.

  Lab scale process development for semisolid formulations managing everything from concept to commercialization including experimental design and formulation strategies.

  Execute scaleup calculations and facilitate the transition from labscale to productionscale for seamless manufacturing.

  Oversee exhibit batch handling coordinating activities and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and project timelines.

  Prepare and maintain technical documentation including development reports process validation protocols and regulatory submissions.

  Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive process improvements resolve technical challenges and maintain product quality and consistency.

  Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory guidelines integrating best practices and innovative technologies into pharmaceutical development.

Qualifications :

Educational qualification: Masters in pharma/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering
Minimum work experience: 46 years  of Experience in Process Development/Manufacturing

• Expertise in process optimization development and troubleshooting across various dosage forms (Semisolid and Oral liquids) and technologies.

• Handson experience in fullscale production ensuring smooth endtoend scaleup.

• Deep understanding of processing techniques and equipment supporting efficient and highquality manufacturing.

• Proficiency in deficiency management and product validation ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Proven track record in improving manufacturing processes enhancing efficiency and product quality.

• Extensive experience with semisolid formulations mastering formulation strategies and process controls.
