Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are Hiring Assistant Director of Nursing to a lead Nursing care home in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Empowered by a supportive team both locally and across the broader
- will have excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills manage within approved resources and offer strategic and operational leadership
- You will work closely with key leaders and develop strong effective relationships with HIQA HSE families and other key stakeholders
- The Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for the clinical operations of the center ensuring the delivery of effective and personcentred care and leading teams to create a place where people can flourish.
Requirements
- Have full registration with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Have a minimum of 3 years postregistration experience of nursing older people within the previous 6 years
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice together with future trends in elder care
- Hold a postregistration management qualification in health or a related field
- A management qualification or Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- ADON experience would be an added advantage
