Join our UK 1 Engineering and Facilities Function team at AstraZeneca where you will provide professional engineering and facilities support to our Biologics manufacturing facility in Speke Liverpool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a World Class service ensuring an uninterrupted stable and reliable operation of the UK1 Manufacturing Testing Research & Development processes.
Accountabilities
As a Operations Maintenance Team Manager you will be responsible for leading and motivating a multidisciplined engineering team working in a manufacturing environment managing external service providers and ensuring all operations Maintenance activities are performed to AZ SHE requirements. You will drive a focus on compliance activities manage regulatory quality compliance and provide technical support for all Maintenance Engineering and Facility plant and equipment. Additionally you will support the delivery of the sites Energy Efficient programme aligned to AstraZeneca Corporate targets.
This role will be working a 4 on / 4 off 12hour Shift rota. To support the business requirements.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Formal Engineering apprenticeship likely with a HNC (ONC) academic qualification
Extensive experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Engineering
Strong leadership skills with excellent organisation skills
Considerable technical knowledge and high level of expertise of the job
Practical working knowledge of SAP
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of automated equipment and processes utilities and HVAC systems
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Degree qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
