Salary:
Location: Wikford Essex SS14
Hours: 37 per week; On a rotating pattern
Earley Monday to Thursday 6am 2pm & Friday 6am 1:30pm
Late Monday to Thursday 1:45pm 9:45pm & Friday 1:15pm 8:45pm
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full Time Permanent

Manual Turner Responsibilities:
- Proficient in operating manual lathes with handson experience in precision machining.
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Experienced in cutting grinding and drilling various materials to specification.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures including company standards and process documentation.
- Diligent in recording production data as well as logging equipment issues adjustments and any required maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address mechanical or safety concerns.
- Ensure machines are adequately stocked with tools and materials to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety creating a secure environment for yourself and colleagues.
Manual Turner Requirements:
- Proven experience working to highquality standards particularly on precisionengineered components.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Solid grasp of general engineering practices including accurate measuring marking out manual drilling tapping basic fabrication setup and tacking.
- Desirable: Exposure to or experience operating CNC machinery is a strong advantage.
