Mayo Clinic Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant Bank to join the growing team!

The Healthcare Assistant facilitates client visits and supports the health care providers by anticipating and responding to client needs and requests of the health care team. Allows care providers to focus on patient care by coordinating details of patient visits. The Health Care Assistant is part of the Clinical team and as such shares responsibility for the treatment rooms and the performance of routine nursingrelated duties. This role receives direction from Providers and Line Manager. Works cooperatively with Medical Secretaries and Receptionists as well as allied health staff various levels of health care providers outside vendors and clients. Maintains an effective working relationship with a variety of personnel within and outside the Clinic.

Mayo Clinic Healthcare is based in central London. Providing Diagnostic and outpatient care for the following specialties include Cardiology Endoscopy Gastrointestinal Neurology Orthopedic Imaging Executive health screening and a Private GP service.

Must have authorization to work in the UK no relocation is being offered.



Qualifications
  • Previous healthcare Assistant experience within a clinical setting.
  • NVQ in health and social care or portfolio of equivalent experience.
  • The Care Certificate.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Peripheral cannulation phlebotomy experience.
  • Specimen management.
  • Competent in Vital Signs and NEWS2 escalation.
  • To maintain effective communication and therapeutic communication with patients and their relatives.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with patients carers and colleagues.
  • Computer skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Confidentiality.
