We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Administrator to join our team on an initial 3month fixedterm contract. Based at our Colchester office this fulltime role plays a key part in supporting compliance across our SHEQ (Safety Health Environment & Quality) department. Some flexibility in working hours may be considered depending on the candidate.
This role involves maintaining and updating essential administrative and compliance systems supporting supplier approvals document control and environmental data tracking as well as ensuring our safety systems and documentation are up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain company accreditations (RISQS Construction Line IAND Portal).
Manage and update the Business Management System (BMS) and associated documentation.
Notify document owners of expiring documents and archive outdated material.
Support and process supplier approvals maintain the Approved Suppliers Matrix.
Respond to client requests for updated SHEQ documentation.
Coordinate Management Engagement Tours and maintain associated records.
Maintain records of environmental data (fleet fuel and office electricity).
Oversee office fire safety coordination (drills training servicing).
Monitor and record quarterly detonator disposal data.
Manage allocation of RSSB digital rule book licenses.
Were looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong administrative background. You will be confident working independently and supporting compliance processes in a safetycritical environment.
Youll be successful in this role if you:
Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping.
Communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners.
Keep compliance systems and documentation fully up to date.
Support health safety and quality across the business.
Essential:
Excellent attention to detail particularly when managing information that must be accurate current and wellorganised.
Clear and professional communication skills both written and verbal for liaising with colleagues suppliers and clients.
Confident use of Microsoft Office especially Word Excel and Outlook for creating tracking and updating documentation.
Wellorganised and dependable able to manage routine tasks as well as respond to unexpected priorities.
Positive and proactive with a willingness to take ownership of your work and contribute to team goals.
Desirable:
Experience in document control or working within a SHEQ environment.
