Team Leader Aimia Foods

Location: Haydock Merseyside

What Youll Lead

Safety & Quality First

  • Promote a safetyfirst qualityalways mindset in everything you and your team do

  • Lead GMP standards and ensure checks compliance and risk controls are always in place

  • Drive rightfirsttime culturereducing production errors and supporting root cause analysis

  • Take ownership of customer complaints and collaborate with QA to make improvements stick

  • Conduct and support risk assessments and incident investigations

People Development & Leadership

  • Lead support and motivate your team through coaching mentoring and clear communication

  • Manage labour effectively ensuring holidays absences and hours are planned and controlled

  • Identify training needs deliver training and maintain a strong skills matrix aligned to business needs

  • Use people tools like PDPs PDRs RTWs and capability processes to support your teams growth

  • Regularly review team performance and take action to maintain high standards

Service Delivery & Cost Efficiency

  • Drive output and efficiency through short interval control problem escalation and process adherence

  • Champion performance measures like OEE and waste reduction using tools like SOPs and stock checks

  • Lead improvement initiatives in your area using crossfunctional teamwork

  • Cover roles within your team during absences to ensure continuous performance

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly with your team at shift briefs and business updates

  • Track and share performance data to keep the team focused and aligned with targets

  • Collaborate effectively with other departments and foster positive working relationships

  • Be a trusted support for the Shift Manager and a key point of contact on shift
