NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children young people families and older people through our communitybased services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the persons needs.
Child Youth and Family Mental Health (CYFMH) provides services to children young people and their families in the Penrith Blue Mountains Hawkesbury and Lithgow community where mental health issues are seriously impacting on their emotional wellbeing relationships and day to day functioning. CYFMH offers mental health assessment psychoeducation clinical support and specialist intervention services. CYFMH is committed to working collaboratively with families and the systems around them to provide person centred trauma informed and recovery orientated care.
As a Senior Clinician the CYFMH Family Therapist is required to demonstrate clinical specialty in systemic interventions and family therapy as well as providing clinical leadership across the Child Youth and Family Mental Health in their specialty area. The CYFMH Family Therapist will provide family and systemic interventions to clients across Community Child and Youth Mental Health teams.
