AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Civil Site Supervisor Melksham Substation.
Your role will involve:
- Day to day management of site operatives subcontractors and site work.
- Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements.
- Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings.
- Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work.
- Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the contractors client Morrisons staff.
- Attend weekly progress meetings.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project
- Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labour including a site dairy
- Desirable to already hold SSE authorisation of minimum CAT1C.
You must have NSI 6 & 8 FULL SMSTS First Aid at Work SHEA Power/ CSCS Temporary Works CoOrdinator & Supervisor to apply for this role.
Start:19th May 2025
Duration: 5 months (potentially longer)
Rate: 500 / day
