Job Purpose
The delivery of insight and performance on Operational functions and processes ensuring quality and speed of service To regularly engage with colleagues and foster good working partnerships. To develop and provide report production activity and ensure that publication of said reporting is in line with business expectations. To share technical knowledge across departments and contribute to the achievement of the divisional strategy. To support and provide assistance to the Senior Manager of the team in daily duties and to deputise when needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver careful management and enhanced quality control to ensure high standards of service are maintained
- Develop new valueadd management information and regularly review/update content to support the business needs.
- Support business orientated projects by participation and involvement with working parties by sourcing cleansing and structuring data for desired objectives.
- Ensure that processes have the correct and most appropriate measurements in place to provide insight for the group in terms of the overall client experience.
- Partake in the production and assessment of business reports ensuring that key messages/information arising are highlighted and delivered to stakeholders.
- Work with colleagues across Operational areas identifying new MI opportunities and define and evangelise appropriate measurements to provide a clear and accurate picture of their processes.
- Work with Technology and Business Intelligence functions to provide additional and overflow support for their areas that can be delivered using the teams skillsets.
- Provide training and coordinate releases of Power BI packs emanating from the team.
- Work with other data teams to create a single source of truth
Skills Experience & Qualifications
- Experience gained within a financial services institution.
- Experience of core systems and their date structure.
- Demonstrable knowledge of investment management and fund administration.
- Strong SQL programming skills are essential with the ability to build and interrogate data warehouse reports.
- Strong Power BI (or similar) programming and report building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner always conscious of the client outcome.
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure multitask and interpret information quickly.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the regulatory environment and how it applies to and impacts your role.
- Experience of managing a team and of delegating and reviewing work.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: including Powerpoint and advanced level Excel.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
Professional Qualifications and Education
- Relevant professional qualification(s) desirable e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate.
