We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. Youll be part of a team that is focused on crafting a seamless modern and efficient helpdesk experience for agents. The team owns all aspects of the everyday helpdesk interface and interactions ensuring it remains intuitive responsive and up to date.
The Agent XP team is responsible for shaping the everyday helpdesk experience owning everything from ticket creation and management to UI responsiveness and agent workflows. Theyre currently leading a full redesign of the helpdesk interfacemodernising the look and feel overhauling the ticket thread experience and recently shipping a revamped navigation bar. The team also handles key features like AIpowered ticket translation notification center realtime UI updates and any platformwide updates that touch the frontend including tooling improvements and dependency upgrades.
Known as one of the strongest frontend teams in the company Agent XP plays a critical role in crossfunctional feature development ensuring new capabilities are seamlessly integrated into the product. Team up with Product and Design to build clean responsive and superfast features that solve real customer problems.
Optimize our apps for speed and scalability ensuring they work smoothly on any browser
Write clear maintainable code and follow best practiceswhile keeping things flexible and pragmatic.
Work in an agile environment collaborate on code reviews and help us ship topnotch features quickly.
Youve got 5 years of experience with TypeScript and React.
You know the ins and outs of the frontend stackCDN Cache bundlers (vite webpack/rspack) test runners (jest/vitest) CI/CD.
Youve worked in hightraffic environments where scalability and performance are crucial.
Youre comfortable balancing frontend and backend needs and can give thoughtful input on API design.
You follow best practices but youre not afraid to make smart tradeoffs when necessary. You build scalable and reliable frontend applications:
You leverage React composition model to build reusable well tested and flexible components.
Youre familiar with modern async state handling (reactquery).
Inversion of control and the testing pyramid are familiar concepts to you.
You know how to build great UIs that look good and feel even better using modern CSS and UX principles.
Nice to have: Youre familiar with WebSockets.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Pnpm for tooling
Youre familiar with frontend UI/UX scaling topics like design systems
Youre interested in frontend architecture and platform work
Our interview process consists of 4 main steps and typically takes around two weeks from the initial screening to the offer stage with feedback provided every 48 hours.
