Job Description
McDonalds Global Internal Audit team provides an essential service to both Senior Management and the Global Audit Committee to support and help the Company succeed in accomplishing its strategic and operational objectives.
You will provide independent and objective assurance and advice over the effectiveness of McDonalds governance risk management and internal control processes through conducting operational compliance financial and financial reporting (SOX) audit engagements.
Your primary responsibility is for the delivery and execution of the departments annual internal audit plan for the international team including:
- Planning and Execution: Conduct riskoriented process audits Financial Reporting Controls audits (SOX) and special audits.
- Audit Reports: Prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations present results and discuss findings with management.
- Followups: Perform followups to ensure the implementation of recommended measures.
- Project Support: Assist with internal departmental projects.
- International Collaboration: Collaborate on projects with colleagues worldwide as part of the international team.
You will be based in Munich and part of the Global Internal Audit team internationally based which forms part of the Global Finance Team. The Global Internal Audit team are forwardthinking agile and supportive and are highly regarded amongst partners across the business. Our teams priorities are to: be a strategic business partner provide innovative and efficient internal audit services and drive results through people.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration
- Track record of professional experience in an auditing firm and/or internal audit role.
- Solid understanding of both internal control and risk management frameworks and keen eye for identifying risk.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship building skills at all levels.
- Intercultural competence due to the international work environment (global function with headquarters in the USA).
- Good numeracy skills and ability to analyse and review financial information.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time outside Germany / Worldwide
- Experience of or passion to learn data analysis techniques and tools.
- Experience of financial audits and SOX testing.
- Fluency in English language written and verbal is essential fluency in other languages is highly desirable.
