Description

The Area Inventory Manager helps make gospel teachings resources or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way supporting the mission of the is done through interaction with the area distribution retail operations and vendors in the assigned countries/areas to maintain the right inventory levels and ensure product is where it needs to be in the right quantities and on time.

This role involves the preparation and analysis of demand/inventory data and also reports regarding the supply chain network. It also involves the qualitative analysis of demand data and its influences in the assigned countries. Additionally it is responsible for managing endtoend inventory processes and the healthiness of the business metrics and indicators.



Responsibilities
  • Work globally with assigned geographic areas to prepare inventory plans
  • Holistically verify demand requirements forecast and provide projections based on inventory data
  • Evaluate and maintain the reorder processes and inventory levels at retail stores and warehouses to ensure they effectively meet customer demand
  • Communicate and collaborate with area distribution management retail operations and vendors
  • Prepare executive reports coordinate data information and communicate with stakeholders in the supply chain network
  • This position entails leading a team responsible for inventory operations and provide training to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business logistics accounting or related field
  • Eight years or relevant experience in supply chain and/or inventory management (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and execute strategic approaches to global inventory processes and analysis with a strong understanding of endtoend supply chain operations while effectively leading and developing a highperforming team
  • International experience in supply chain planning or inventory management is advantageous
  • Proficiency with supply chain management systems (Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint). Proficiency in PowerBI is a plus
  • High command in English language knowledge is a requirement. A second European language knowledge would be an advantage
