The Drop Shipment Expert ensures efficient distribution of Metro Own Brand products supporting the sCore strategy. The role drives goods availability and customer satisfaction through seamless order processing and timely delivery. By enhancing supply chain transparency and optimizing performance this role reinforces Metro International Supply reputation as a reliable partner for Metro countries by ensuring ontime infull deliveries.
Receive and accurately process customer orders ensuring all necessary details are captured for flawless execution.
Provide proactive and clear communication to customers offering updates on order status potential challenges and resolution timelines.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Plan and schedule transportation working closely with carriers customers and suppliers to ensure ontime and infull (OTIF) delivery.
Resolve logistical issues promptly to maintain delivery timelines and customer expectations.
Monitor and support carrier performance management to ensure adherence to desired Service levels.
Collaborate with external customs experts to prepare and verify accurate export documentation for international shipments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to facilitate smooth crossborder transactions.
Work with internal departments including procurement supplier collaboration and operations to monitor and enhance supplier and carrier service levels.
Actively participate in crossdepartmental initiatives aimed at optimizing ordertodelivery processes.
Utilize dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order processing transportation performance and service levels.
Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to drive improvements in logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
Recommend and implement process enhancements to achieve operational excellence and cost efficiencies.
Qualifications :
Order Management Expertise: ability to accurately process and manage customer orders.
Customer Communication Skills: proactive communication and relationship management.
Transportation Planning: planning and coordinating ontime deliveries.
Carrier Performance Oversight: familiarity with monitoring and improving carrier service levels.
Export Documentation Knowledge: expertise in preparing and verifying international shipment documents.
Regulatory Compliance Understanding: knowledge of crossborder trade regulations and standards.
Data Analysis Proficiency: ability to analyze logistics KPIs and drive performance improvements.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: experience working with internal teams and external partners.
