Excited to flex your frontend skills and develop modern solutions for Amazon customers The Amazon Payment Products team is seeking a talented and passionate frontend engineer to deliver exceptional experiences for our global customer base. Key job responsibilities
Architect design develop and deploy new product features with a focus on UX
Contribute bestinclass programming skills to develop highly innovative consumerfacing experiences
Write clean maintainable code and perform peer codereviews.
Work with other team members to investigate design approaches prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
Work in an agile / scrum environment to deliver high quality software against planned schedules.
Establish architectural principles select design patterns and mentor team members on their appropriate application.
Help define and implement standards and promote best practices for the frontend development community including accessibility performance localization scaling using microfrontends etc.

Following on this vision we are building new products to accelerate and reimagine Installment experience in Amazon. 3 years of noninternship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
2 years of computer science fundamentals (objectoriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
Experience building reusable UX components or libraries
Experience building scalable distributed frontend experiences
Proficiency in React Native using at least one modern language such as TypeScript

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
