- Completion of grade twelve (12) including business subjects related to word and information processing and training in microcomputer applications or completion of an approved certificate program.
- A minimum of two (2) years of diversified word and/or information processing experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience within a Canadian police agency would be an asset.
- Prior customer service experience would be an asset.
- Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accurate entry.
- Experience with Niche CPIC eCollision eCruiser CROMS CarFax Excel and Word would be an asset.
- Ability to solve problems and make independent decisions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure all tasks are completed per work plan
- Able to work independently to exercise sound judgment and to maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills are required with a focus on providing customer service.

- As part of your prehire screening you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Hours of Work:
40.00 hours per week. Shifts are 12 hours on a rotational basis.
Salary Range:
21B Salary Grade: 007 $23.78 $29.53 (Hourly) $1903.00 $2362.70(BiWeekly) $496672.60 $61666.99 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement bet City of Edmonton.

The Collision Coordination Unit (CCU) Clerk position is responsible for the review evaluation completion approval and distribution of collision reports. This position will also intake on occasion collision related information directly from citizens. Responsibilities include:
- This position is required to apply sound judgement to analyse the reports based on policy procedure and legislative requirements.
- Contact citizens to clarify documents or statements.
- View involved vehicles and document observations.
- Search various databases (Niche / CPIC / MOVES / PIP / eCollision / eCruiser / CROMS / Carfax) to obtain information and complete report.
- Complete a collision report in its entirety which includes viewing documents collecting statements and taking photographs.
- Receive questions and concerns from the public and ASSI and answer them if they fall within your scope of knowledge or direct them to the appropriate area.
- Liaise with TEC the City of Edmonton other police services and Alberta Justice on collision related matters.
- Other duties as required.
