Reporting to the Director Legal Services (Clinical) and working with the CAMH Legal Services (Clinical) team the Consent and Capacity Board Coordinator will be responsible for supporting Consent and Capacity Board (CCB) hearing processes at CAMH.
The Consent and Capacity Board Coordinator acts as the central point of contact for CCB hearings and manages relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (including the CCB legal counsel other psychiatric hospitals and the Psychiatric Patient Advocacy Office) to ensure smooth communication between all parties on CCB hearing matters.
The CCB Coordinator liaises with physicians legal counsel and the CCB regarding the scheduling of CCB hearings. Responsibilities include: day to day handling of hearing applications hearing scheduling and related processes (filing and calendar management) delivery of hearing materials and coordinating with CAMH legal counsel. The successful candidate will also support the development of resource materials for physicians. This position includes daytoday administrative tasks as well as larger project work.
The successful candidate will work closely with CAMH Legal Counsel (Clinical) clinical teams and physicians and CAMHs Health Records staff in the coordination of services that support CCB hearing processes.
