Under the direction of the Career Pathways Coordinator these positions will be housed out of Monfort Centre and work with all four division high schools (Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School St. Joseph High School St. Dominic High School and St. John Paul II Outreach School)
As a Dual Credit OffCampus Education Teacher the successful candidate will guide students as they explore career pathways through work experience placements registered apprenticeships green certificate and postsecondary partnerships. Rooted in our Catholic faith this role encourages students to see their gifts and talents as part of Gods unique plan for their lives. Under the direction of the Careers Pathway Coordinator these positions will be housed out of Monfort Centre and work with all four division high schools (Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School St. Joseph High School St. Dominic High School and St. John Paul II Outreach School). Additionally the successful candidate may be working with middle schools to help support exploratory educational opportunities that help students connect their academics to career pathways.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Strong organizational time management communication and relationshipbuilding skills
Promote safety professionalism and employability skills across all placements
A passion for career exploration equity and studentcentred learning
Experience with dual credit RAP CTS and CTF as well as offcampus programming is
an asset
A collaborative spirit and a willingness to thrive in a faithfilled supportive team environment
Experience analyzing data to inform decisions and instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
Growthoriented with the capacity to utilize feedback for professional development
Demonstrates a relentless drive to accomplish personal and professional objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Drivers License.
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Start date will be August 25 2025.
This position is open to internal and external applicants priority will be given to RDCRS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position.
