About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development & Underwriting Professional to join our team in Hamilton. This fulltime inoffice role is a unique blend of relationshipbuilding and technical underwriting expertise. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurance brokers while managing a portfolio of renewals across P&C lines.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and build new relationships with insurance brokers to grow our book of business
Manage and underwrite a portfolio of P&C renewals with attention to profitability and risk assessment
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery
Provide exceptional service to brokers and clients through clear communication and professional support
Evaluate and analyze underwriting data to make confident strategic decisions
Maintain awareness of industry trends market conditions and emerging risks
Demonstrated success in business development within an MGA or insurer environment
Solid experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) underwriting
Excellent customer service communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical thinking and confident decisionmaking abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Positive attitude strong work ethic and a collaborative team mindset
Adaptability to evolving technologies and openness to change

Full-Time
