Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Transportation Operations & Safety Analyst with 03 years experience to join our transportation impact study team. The focus of our team is providing transportation consulting services in support of land development and redevelopment across Ontario and assisting our architects and urban planners in realizing our clients vision.

The successful candidate will be selfmotivated demonstrate excellent communication skills be eager to mentor and indicate an interest to work on a wide variety of private and public sector projects. As a Transportation Operations & Safety Analyst in our growing Mobility Advisory team typical projects and tasks will include:

  • Transportation impact studies and related analysis for residential commercial and employment developments across Ontario
  • Traffic operations review / capacity analysis parking demand reviews travel demand management and road user safety studies
  • Roadway planning and design studies assessments for existing transportation facilities and planned improvements
  • Project coordination between other design disciplines
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation related to current or prospective projects
  • Serve in a clientfacing role prepare for and attend meetings prepare summaries.

Role accountabilities:

  • Delivering high quality on all technical deliverables
  • Using professional judgment to identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Contributing to client and project success by focusing on improving quality of life and putting sustainability at the core of all you do
  • Applying technical analysis report writing and other skills to deliver projects ontime and onbudget
  • Regular coordination with project managers and team members to align project goals project progress and deliverables
  • Attending internal and external multidisciplinary project team meetings site visits and other meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or College diploma incivil engineering
  • Eligible for professional designation / certification by PEO OPPI or OACETT
  • 03 years experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario Traffic Manual Highway Capacity Manual Syncrho and other recognized transportation standards and reference materials
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office AutoCAD AutoTURN VISSIM
  • Excellent analytical and decisionmaking skills with a commitment to excellence and highquality work
  • Able to apply a contextsensitive approach to resolving conflicts between competing project goals
  • Able to manage effort on multiple simultaneous projects in an environment with firm deadlines
  • Ability to regularly attend site visits and client meetings in person in the Greater Toronto Area

The salary range for this position is $56000$84000. The base salary represents Arcadis hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as location skills experience and qualification for the role.
