We are looking to onboard our next Assurance Manager to our team of customercentric CPAs who thrive on creating the best experiences possible for our clients and our team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Prepare and/or review assurance and nonassurance engagements and projects
Prepare and/or perform initial review of corporate personal and estate tax returns
Maintain proficiency in the accounting assurance quality control and ethical standards applicable to the client base including recent changes to standards
Provide consultations to clients on various accounting payroll and similar matters
Apply industry/business knowledge and experience in providing practical solutions to clients
Work independently on special assignments
Begin to develop and build on new business opportunities with existing clients and continually maintain a positive client relationship
Participate in interviews and assist in the selection of new talent during recruitment periods
Share knowledge with peers to develop professional skills and improve service delivery- Provide a stable flexible environment that is grounded in teamwork and supports personal and professional development
WHAT YOU BRING
A Canadian CPA designation (any legacy) with minimum 13 years postdesignation experience
Sound technical knowledge of ASPE and experience performing and/or leading review engagements
Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
Proven people influencing and leadership ability
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships
Experience working within tight deadlines with multiple priorities
Experience working in a highgrowth or entrepreneurial environment
Positive and proactive attitude
A selfdirected learning philosophy always staying on the cutting edge of best practices
A great sense of humour and enthusiasm
