Our team in the Sustainability and Applied Science Division is looking for a Senior Industrial Hydrogeologist to work alongside a diverse team of passionate scientists engineers and technicians whose work drives the protection and stewardship of our provinces water resources. We participate in crossdepartmental and crossgovernmental teams with academic partners and consultants to achieve the efficient protection use and regulation of provincial water resources to support the environmental and economic development priorities of the Province.
As a Senior Industrial Hydrogeologist youll lead efforts in managing and protecting Nova Scotias groundwater resources particularly as they relate to current and proposed industrial developments. In this strategic role you will act as one of the provinces lead experts in hydrogeology providing guidance on environmental assessments regulatory frameworks and groundwater protection strategies. Your work will help ensure sustainable water use and environmental integrity as Nova Scotia advances major industrial projects and natural resource activities.
Youll also contribute to provincial and national groundwater initiatives mentor regional hydrogeologists oversee major research and monitoring programs and support policy development that ensures the sustainable use and protection of groundwater in Nova Scotia.
As a Senior Industrial Hydrogeologist on our team you will contribute to our branches work by participating in the following:
You are a Professional Geoscientist licensed or eligible to be licensed in Nova Scotia with a minimum degree of Bachelor of Science in Geoscience or a related area of study such as hydrogeology geology earth sciences or environmental sciences. To ensure you are successful in this role we are looking for a senior hydrogeologist with at least eight years of experience in hydrogeology.

Salary Range: $3107.16 $3649.33BiWeekly
