Job Description
The purchasing department of the automotive division is currently seeking a Planner Buyer to join its dynamic team. You stand out for your analytical skills rigor dynamism and strong adaptability.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing procurement to meet regular seasonal and promotional needs;
- Maintaining and optimizing the replenishment system parameters to ensure desired service levels while achieving appropriate inventory turnover;
- Analyzing forecast exceptions seasonal fluctuations and customer purchasing habits and making necessary adjustments;
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects to optimize the operations of the department as well as other areas of the company;
- Ensuring effective communication with product departments distribution centers stores and suppliers to achieve established service objectives.
Qualifications :
Profile sought to join our team:
- A degree in operations management mathematics administration or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Excellent proficiency in both French and English spoken and written as you will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada;
- Knowledge of procurement software such as Manhattan IO AS 400 ISeries IBMi (an asset);
- Proficiency in advanced analytical tools or languages such as SQL (an asset).
