Location: So Paulo SP or Paulnia SP
Role purpose
To procure an assigned services and materials portfolio for Indirect Procurement Categories (Capex/Opex) ensuring tecnical requirements on time on specification supply delivering minimum total cost of ownership.
To establish purchasing tenders negotiate prices and establish contracts or orders in line with demand.
To provide local market knowledge / intelligence for components within the portfolio.

Accountabilities
For the assigned portfolio:
Negotiate contracts and maintain day to day relationships with suppliers including establishing supplier performance measures conducting regular reviews focused on achieving deal delivery.
Provide local market intelligence for assigned portfolio including documented sourcing analyses supply scenario comparisons and supplier research / new suppliers.
Demonstrate compliance with procurement processes regarding etendering Supplier Relationship Management (including performance management) and Contract Management.
Build strong internal client and procurement networks to raise awareness support internal clients and share best practice.
Actively participate in multifunctional sourcing teams and projects.
Partner with internal clients to provide operational purchasing support.
Registration of suppliers in Syngentas Procurement platform SAP and Ariba;
Assist in the due diligence process (evaluation of suppliers before the bidding stage);
Support Tenders preparation and documentation required
Clarify doubts about tenders through Syngentas Procurement platform;
Support contracts analysis / preparation in conjunction with Syngentas legal team;
Followup of the contracting processes in progress
Carry out a commercial evaluation and payment terms conditions.
Conduct evaluation / feedback of suppliers to identify high performance suppliers and prepare an Improvement action plan for lowperforming suppliers

Qualifications :
Critical knowledge
Detailed knowledge of purchasing systems (desirable SAP and Ariba knowledge)
Ability to handle detailed information and analyse and extract critical issues
Good knowledge of supply markets and market cost drivers.
Working knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
Critical skills
Negotiation contract creation and management skills of equipment and engineering service providers
Ability to build up and maintain good communication internally and with suppliers
Stakeholder Mangement
Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross functional teams; organisation skills
