Job Description

The International School of Brussels is one of Europes longest established largest finest international schools. It is a dynamic school with high expectations.

For the school yearwe are currently seeking experienced teachers for our Social Sciences department who can teach IBDP Business Studies and supervise IB Business Extended Essays at the high/secondary school level.

Essential qualifications

  • Teaching Experience
  • Strong subject matter expertise in Business Studies.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to use technology effectively for instructional purposes.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience teaching of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP).
  • Teaching certification.

  • A 40% ISB contract from August 1st 2025 till July 31st 2026
    • 40% means two classes. It may be possible to have both classes on the same day so the teacher would be expected to be on campus every other day. This means over a two week period the person would be expected to be on campus for five of the ten work days three days one week and two days the other week.
