Senior Hydrology EngineerShape the Future of Water with Us
Join our Perth Operations team as a Senior Hydrology Engineer and play a key role in delivering technically challenging and rewarding projects across Australia. Whether youre developing flood models or contributing to major infrastructure designs youll work alongside some of the industrys most respected expertsbringing innovation collaboration and practical solutions to every stage of a project. You will have the opportunity if desired to lead projects and manage workwinning activities. Your role will have elements of strategy design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hydrological and hydraulic investigation and design for a wide range of studies including rural and urban flood studies transport and mine infrastructure floodplain management water balance modelling stormwater management and mine water management
Support the delivery of water resources projects nationally
Provide technical expertise and support to the engineering and environment team
Develop strong relationships with our clients.
Support the delivery of technical models and reports to a high standard contributing to KBRs reputation for the delivery of quality project outputs.
TUFLOW/HECRAS modelling and project management
Skills & Experience Required:
Engineering degree (Civil or Environmental) or solid work experience in hydraulic infrastructure design and project coordination.
Registered as a Member of Engineers Australia and willing to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame.
Prior experience providing mentorship or leadership to junior team members.
Prior experience of the following is advantageous WSUD Waterway design Wetland design Dams retarding basins major drainage assets stormwater water treatment.
Must hold Australian perm residency or citizenship.
