About the role:

As the Clinical Manager at our 110bed Salter Point facility youll lead the delivery of personcentered care working closely with residents families and staff. You will coordinate care plans ensuring they are tailored to each residents needs and oversee medication management and staff performance. Your role will also involve maintaining communication with families assessing care plans and managing clinical incidents.

Youll lead a team of professionals providing mentorship and professional development and ensuring the team is working within their scope. Additionally you will support recruitment retention and staff development while contributing to budget planning and monitoring financial reports. Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Standards and supporting quality improvement initiatives will be key parts of your responsibilities.

About you:

You hold tertiary qualifications in Nursing and are currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience. You have a proven track record in a senior clinical care role particularly in aged care and have demonstrated leadership and influencing skills. Your understanding of care assessments in the aged care sector including the use of ANACC is extensive and you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

You have a sound understanding of relevant legislation and experience in meeting Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and Outcomes. Your commitment to the personcentred approach in aged care and providing customercentric care is evident along with proficiency in using a wide range of IT applications relevant to clinical care. You also bring experience in geriatric medicine chronic disease management palliative care dementia care or other relevant fields for individuals aged 65 and older.

In addition you are capable of understanding financial management principles and interpreting financial reports. Your knowledge of contemporary aged care issues and opportunities is welldeveloped allowing you to adapt to and contribute to the everevolving aged care landscape.
