We are seeking a Filing Registration and Search Clerk to join our Knowledge and Research team on a 12 month maximum term contract to be based in Perth.
In this role you will work closely with the Knowledge and Research team members to assist all practice groups across the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
Attending to filing search and registration of company and businessrelated documentation/certificates through third party platforms and or directly with regulatory bodies e.g. ASIC and PPSR. This includes time sensitive filing; ASIC Shares Lodgements; and ensuring correct ASIC forms are used.
Ensuring timely and accurate processing of PPSR registrations amendments discharges and Secure Party Group creations etc.
Conducting Business/association/partnership searches including document image requests via preferred thirdparty providers and at times directly through ASIC
Assisting with lodgements via third party providers for Land registries and State Revenue Office
Accessing Law Courts/Tribunals to file issue and search court documents and order transcripts if required
Managing the payments for external agencies via credit card
Various administrative duties as required e.g. assistance with payments/credit card processing; weekly Infotrack Disbursements; Administrator duties for various search portals including monitoring and actioning staff movements
Working as part of the national FRASC team providing support and assistance to colleagues when necessary.
Compliance with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role.
To be successful in this role you will have:
A good understanding of Court jurisdictions in relevant states;
Demonstrated knowledge of electronic lodgement procedures;
Working knowledge and understanding of regulatory authorities i.e. ASIC PPSR Consumer Affairs Land Titles Office State Revenue Office Law Courts & Tribunals;
High level of selfmotivation customer focus and enthusiasm;
Demonstrated diplomacy discretion and confidentiality;
An understanding of internal clients structure priorities and needs;
Abiltiy to show initiative and problem solve;
Clear and concise communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing deadlines and work under pressure;
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
