About the Role
As a Family Day Care Educator youll provide a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment for children all from the comfort of your own home. Youll develop playbased programs that support childrens learning and development following their interests ideas and needs. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future generation while enjoying the rewards of running your own business.
What You Need:
To be eligible you must have one of the following qualifications:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Education
- Diploma of Education
In addition youll need:
- Current Working with Children Blue Card
- Child Protection Certificate
- Behaviour Management Certificate
- First Aid and CPR
- National Police Check
- Pool Safety Certificate (if you have a pool on the property)
- Currently located in Cairns (Palm Cove Kuranda to Gordonvale)
What Youll Do:
- Create a safe inclusive and stimulating environment
- Plan and deliver meaningful playbased learning experiences
- Build positive relationships with children and their families
- Operate your Family Day Care business with professional support
