Job Type: Fulltime 12 month Fixed term Contract

Coliban Water is embarking on an exciting transformation through the Coliban of the Future program a significant investment in our people processes assets and technology.

Reporting to the Test Manager the Test Analyst will be a key contributor to the Core Capability Uplift Commercial (CCU) and Finance Management project which will replace our current finance system and implement a new commercial management system. This strategic initiative aims to modernise and enhance our financial operations and commercial management capabilities to support the organisations growth and efficiency.

The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of systems and solutions through wellplanned and executed testing activities. Working closely with developers business analysts and project teams they will contribute to successful delivery by identifying managing and communicating test outcomes issues and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Test Analyst youll be accountable for:

  • Analyse business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios and cases
  • Execute manual and/or automated tests and report on outcomes
  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system quality
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes tools and documentation
  • Participate in system integration regression and user acceptance testing activities
  • Provide clear and concise test reporting and support golive activities
  • Support the implementation of test frameworks and test data management processes

About you:

  • A tertiary degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (desirable)
  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases test scripts and test plans
  • Experience with test automation tools (desirable)
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data through queries (desirable)

Salary:

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4 $93548 $112895 superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
