Associate Architect FrontEnd Design Focus
Location: Sydney Salary: Up to $130k Super FullTime
Kappa Executive Search is recruiting on behalf of a Sydney CBDbased studio for an Associate Architect with a strong focus on earlystage design feasibility and planning. This role will lead frontend project phases across significant mixeduse multiresidential hotel commercial and public projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience running complex projects from feasibility through to design development with a strong grasp of NSW planning frameworks SEPP ADG and local authority engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead feasibility studies planning assessments and early project strategy
- Drive massing urban design responses and planning compliance
- Prepare and coordinate Planning Proposals SSDAs and DAs
- Engage directly with clients consultants authorities and design panels
- Oversee earlystage Revit documentation and guide transition to later phases
- Support and mentor team members in design execution
Requirements:
- Registered Architect (NSW) preferred
- Demonstrated experience in frontend design leadership
- Strong knowledge of SEPP ADG NSW planning controls
- Proven experience delivering multiresidential or mixeduse projects
- Proficient in Revit for concept and earlystage documentation
- Confident communicator with ability to lead planning and stakeholder processes
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
