The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic fulltime Home Care Manager for our services in Murray primarily based in Albury to lead the staff consumers and volunteers involved in UPAs home care programs.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the Standards and that processes are in place to document and monitor service provisions to our Home Care Consumers. You will support themanagement of the Home Care Programs in the areas of clinical governance business processes and business improvement processes. You will oversee and support Care Staff within the Home Care Team; and you will develop and maintain relationships with peak bodies relevant organisations consumers and carers to ensure a partnership approach to aged care service delivery.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience at a management level in aged care or a related industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in designingdevelopingand implementing new/improved operational processes and systems
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Experience in budget management and able to display knowledge in generating income from Commonwealth funding schemes.
  • Experience in managing and developing staff and volunteers
  • A commitment to selfdevelopment through professional education and training
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of functions
  • Current first aid certificate
  • RN qualifications are highly desirable

The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:

  • Vaccinated in accordance with UPAs Immunisation and Vaccination Policy. (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID19 vaccine and annual influenza)
  • Undertake a National Criminal History Check
  • PreEmployment Medical Assessment
