Position: Senior Manager RE Projects (Solar & Wind)
Location: Corporate Office Hyderabad
Experience: 510 years
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or Renewable Energy preferred)
Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Renewable Energy Projects to lead the endtoend of solar and wind energy projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong expertise in project management procurement regulatory compliance and business development within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and commissioning of utilityscale solar and wind projects across various locations.
Manage daily project operations ensuring timelines budgets quality standards and safety protocols are met.
Develop procurement strategies and oversee the supply chainfrom vendor selection and negotiation to logistics and delivery.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks permits and statutory requirements at central and state levels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors technology providers consultants and government bodies.
Provide technical and commercial insights for project feasibility and business development.
Lead crossfunctional teams and supervise onground engineering personnel to ensure smooth project .
Prepare and present project reports risk assessments and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Identify and mitigate risks proactively to minimize impact on project timelines or costs.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or a related discipline).
510 years of proven experience managing solar and wind energy projects including procurement and O&M.
Solid understanding of renewable energy technologies grid integration and site management.
Familiarity with power trading PPA structures and regulatory developments in Indias RE sector.
Strong leadership and team management abilities; experience in working with multiple stakeholders and crossfunctional teams.
Excellent negotiation communication and analytical skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project Primavera SAP).
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
