Overview
The Gynaecologist (MS DGO) Consultant plays a crucial role in womens health care by overseeing a range of medical and surgical services. The primary function of this position is to ensure women receive comprehensive reproductive gynecological and obstetric care with the aim of improving health outcomes and enhancing patient experience. Based in Sangareddy Telangana the Gynaecologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions providing pre and postoperative care and working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient wellbeing. This position requires not only exceptional medical knowledge and problemsolving abilities but also excellent interpersonal skills as the doctor will engage closely with patients and their families guiding them through complex medical decisions. The Gynaecologist will also be involved in community health initiatives and continuous education fostering a culture of health awareness and preventative care. The role ultimately contributes to establishing the medical facility as a leading provider of womens health services in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders.
- Perform surgeries including hysterectomies laparoscopies and other gynecological procedures.
- Provide antenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers.
- Conduct regular health screenings and reproductive health assessments.
- Advise patients on family planning and contraception options.
- Manage highrisk obstetrics cases and provide interventions as needed.
- Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients on gynecological health and preventive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
- Lead community outreach programs to promote womens health awareness.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in gynecological practices.
- Participate in peer reviews and continuous medical education.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support and mentor junior staff and medical students.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate degree in Gynecology (MS/DGO).
- At least 35 years of experience in a gynecology practice.
- Current medical license and board certification.
- Strong clinical skills and understanding of gynecological conditions.
- Proficiency in performing surgical procedures.
- Excellent patient assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Adeptness in maintaining patient confidentiality and ethics.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of the latest medical technologies and treatments.
- Experience in patient education and counseling.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
