Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write highquality articles product reviews and blog posts focusing on tech gadgets new releases and tech trends. Content should be engaging informative and optimized for SEO.
- Technical Writing: Demonstrate the ability to use technical jargon appropriately to explain complex tech concepts in an accessible manner to our diverse readership.
- Pop Culture Integration: Leverage knowledge of current pop culture to create content that resonates with our audience drawing parallels or references where relevant.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity coherence grammar and style consistency before publication.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on tech products market trends and emerging technologies to keep content fresh and accurate.
- Social Media Savvy: Assist in creating content snippets for social media platforms to drive engagement and traffic to the website.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team designers and marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand voice and campaign goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Journalism Communications English or a related field with a focus on technology or a similar area.
- Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal.
- Proven writing ability especially in technical writing with a knack for using tech jargon effectively.
- Familiarity with SEO practices and content optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of pop culture to blend tech with contemporary references.
- Proficiency in using Gen AI tools for content enhancement or research.
- Techsavvy with a genuine interest in gadgets and technology.
- Experience:
- Previous internship or freelance writing experience in tech or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with blogging platforms content management systems or social media is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong research skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
