Job Description
Job Title: CounsellorGermany Nursing Program
Location: City Centre GBlock 2nd Floor Matigara Siliguri
Job Type: Fulltime
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and culturally sensitive Counsellor to support international nursing students in their academic and personal development. The Counsellor will provide individual and group counseling help students navigate cultural adjustment and homesickness and assist with stress management and mental health concerns. This role involves collaborating with faculty and support teams to ensure students thrive academically and professionally while adapting to a new educational and healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counselling to international nursing students addressing academic stress cultural adjustment and personal challenges.
Offer crisis intervention and referrals to external mental health resources as needed.
Lead workshops on stress management cultural integration and academic success.
Support students in adjusting to life in a new country including overcoming language barriers and dealing with homesickness.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students wellbeing and success in the program.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in nursing Hons or related field.
Experience working with international students or in a higher education setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on cultural sensitivity.
