The University of North Alabamas Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions (ACONHP) is seeking qualified fulltime . Salary and rank will be based on qualifications of the successful candidate. Essential Job Duties
This position is responsible for teaching nine (9) credit hours of graduate coursework per semester; providing clinical supervision of students; recruiting and advising students; engaging in scholarly activities and professional service; engaging in service to the department college and university; participating in curriculum and course development activities within the department and college; maintaining office hours in accordance with college and university policy; teach within the instructional areas of medical/surgical nursing critical care nutrition and other undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses; and performing all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A masters degree in nursing from an accredited institution is required; a doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited institution is preferred; family nurse practitioner or psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner certification is preferred; five years of clinical practice is required; three years of classroom or clinical teaching experience in an accredited registered nursing program or higher degree nursing program is preferred; an unrestricted nursing license for the State of Alabama or the ability to obtain such is required; and online teaching experience and/or willingness to teach online courses is preferred.

Official transcripts for the highest degree attained are required of the successful candidate but unofficial copies will be accepted for the application process. If any of your graduate hours in the relevant teaching discipline are taken from a degree(s) that is not your highest attained an official transcript of that degree(s) mustalso be submitted. Transcripts with a designation of Issued to Student or with the student name listed as the recipient will not be considered official. Official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate prior to the start date of the appointment but unofficial copies will be accepted for the application process.
