Title:
Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) SpecialistJob Summary:
KBR is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control platform office and will be based out of Patuxent River MD. The successful candidate will participate in meetings and collect complete organize and interpret technical data. The selected candidate is required to be local to NAS PAX River MD.
Program Summary:
The E2/C2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA231) is responsible for providing the E2C Hawkeye E2D Advanced Hawkeye Hawkeye 2000 and the C2A Greyhound fleet with acquisition strategy logistics and sustainment solutions in support of the warfighters mission.
Job Description:
Prepares logistics support documentation and source data such as logistics operational management/user documents integrated logistics support plans user logistics support summaries postproduction support plans and logistics implementation plans.
Implements logistics plans databases and support files to support the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications.
Applies logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. Performs logistics database management functions.
Performs logistics inventories and related logistics functions. Works independently and leads the implementation of logistics discipline.
Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:
Assist the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) in the early planning development implementation and management of a comprehensive costeffective total life cycle support of assigned E2C and E2D avionics systems.
Support new acquisition product requirements participation in logistics planning and technical reviews; development of Contractual Statement of Work (SOW) Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Technical Directives Logistics Requirements Funding Summary (LRFS) Maintenance Planning data supply support and provisioning requirements training requirements;support equipment requirements reviewing Interactive Technical Manuals (IETM) for completeness and accuracy readiness degrader metrics cost saving initiatives readiness improvements and provide logistics support throughout the sustainment lifecycle.
Establish and maintain relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups for all matters concerning the aviation program.
Provide technical support for a wide variety of worldwide installations and utilization requirements for both land and carrierbased aircraft weapon systems of the U.S. Navy.
Collaborate with Integrated Program Team Leads financial personnel and program contractors to identify and acquire funding to achieve logistics program objectives.
Critically evaluate the causes of support related problems and choose appropriate courses of action that balance the interests of the program mission and the stakeholders.
Participate and provide recommendations in the analytical processes that determines supportability requirements and resources necessary to sustain aviation systems and equipment throughout the system life cycle
Generate briefs to indicate the sustainment approach for assigned systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or associate degree plus 8 years additional work experience performing duties described in the job description may be substituted for a bachelors degree. OR 12 years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a bachelors degree AND 512 plus years of combined experience performing duties described in the job description.
A current secret level security clearance: Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to assess apply and recommend improvements to established business processes.
Ability to balance priorities to work effectively in the fastpaced program office environment.
Highly proficient at Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
Must be a selfstarter and be able to colead meetings and capture actions items and meeting minutes.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 hours/week
Compensation:
$105160 $157630
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates location knowledge skills abilities and/or experience contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
